- How much does it cost to study in the UK as an international student?
- Tuition for international undergraduates typically runs £16,000–£38,000 a year depending on the course, plus the £558 Student visa fee, the Immigration Health Surcharge (£776 per year of visa) and living costs the Home Office sets at £1529 a month in London or £1171 elsewhere for nine months.
- Which UK universities can sponsor a Student visa?
- Only providers on the Home Office register of licensed student sponsors can issue the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) you need to apply. AnyRoot marks every course from a licensed sponsor, and 262 of the 474 providers in the search hold a licence.
- Can I work in the UK after graduating?
- Yes. The Graduate visa lets you stay and work for two years after a bachelor's or master's degree (three years after a PhD) without a sponsor; for applications from 1 January 2027 the period becomes 18 months. You can switch into a Skilled Worker visa from it.
