Most people who move country to study make the biggest financial decision of their life so far on a brochure, a forum thread and an agent’s word. The information exists: the UK publishes fees, satisfaction, graduate salaries and sponsor licences for every course. It is just scattered across five websites and written for administrators.

AnyRoot puts it in one search, checks the numbers that matter most (international fees) against each university’s own pages, and shows the date we last looked. Then it keeps going: the cost calculator, the visa checklist and the settling-in app cover the part of the journey that brochures stop at.

What we will not do

• Rank universities by who pays us. Course order comes from your filters and official data.
• Give immigration advice. We publish general information with sources, and refer you to an IAA-registered adviser when a case needs one.
• Hide a number. If we have not verified a fee, the card says so.

How it is funded

The search and the app are free for students and for the agencies who use the platform. When a student opens a bank account, buys a SIM or finds a home through a partner in the app, the partner pays a referral fee, and we share it with the student and their agency. That funds the software. Employers pay a fixed fee per hire for onboarding.

Data and licences

Course data comes from Discover Uni (HESA / Jisc, Open Government Licence) and the Home Office register of licensed student sponsors, with fee curation by our team. Cost figures are checked against GOV.UK and carry a last-verified date. See our privacy notice for what we collect.
